Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and VentureCite when you use our website and product. Read them before you create an account. By creating an account or using VentureCite, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
[01]The service
VentureCite shows businesses how AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity describe and cite them. It tracks the answers, finds gaps, and writes drafts and fixes that you can use. The product changes over time. We may add, change or remove features.
We cannot control what AI systems say. Results show what the assistants answered when we asked, and answers change between asks. We do not promise that you will be cited, ranked or recommended by any AI system.
[02]Your account
You must be 16 or older. If you sign up for a company, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms.
Give us correct information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite to your team do. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
[03]Plans, billing and renewal
VentureCite has a Free plan and paid monthly plans: Pro at $100 a month and Agency at $500 a month. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are extra where they apply. Limits for each plan are shown on the pricing page.
A paid plan is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews every month until you cancel. We charge the payment method you gave us at each renewal. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again a few times. If it keeps failing, we may end the paid plan and move your account to the Free plan.
If we change a price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. You can cancel before then.
Some accounts get Pro free for a set time. When that time ends, the account moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. We never charge a card you have not given us.
[04]Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in Settings under Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your paid plan until the end of the month you paid for. Then your account moves to the Free plan. You can also delete your account in Settings, which ends your subscription at once.
[05]Refunds
We do not refund partial months or unused time. This does not take away any right that the law gives you. Where the law requires a refund or gives you a right to withdraw, such as for a consumer in the EU or the UK, we follow the law. In those cases we may keep a fair share of the fee for the days you already used the service, if you asked it to start at once.
If you think we charged you by mistake, email engineering@venturecite.com and we will look into it.
[06]Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or use VentureCite to harm, harass or deceive other people
- Try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or test our security without our written permission
- Copy, scrape or resell VentureCite or its data, or use it to build a competing service, without our written permission
- Send more load than a normal user would, or work around plan limits
- Use the drafts we write to mislead readers, post fake reviews, or break the rules of the sites where you post
- Share your account with people outside your team
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk. If we can, we tell you first.
[07]Sanctions and export controls
You confirm that you are not on a US government list of restricted parties. You also confirm that you are not located in, and are not using VentureCite for anyone in, a country or region under a comprehensive US embargo, such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. You will not use VentureCite in any way that breaks US export control or sanctions law. We may end access at once if you break this section.
[08]Your content and our content
You own the information you put into VentureCite, such as your brands, prompts and notes, and the drafts we write for you. You give us a limited right to store and process it only to run the service for you. We may use results in anonymous, combined form to improve the service.
We own VentureCite, including its software, design and data we collect from public sources. These terms give you a right to use it. They do not give you ownership of it.
[09]AI-generated output
Drafts, answers and recommendations in VentureCite are made by AI models. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check them before you use or publish them. You are responsible for what you publish.
Follow the rules of the places where you post. For example, Wikipedia requires you to disclose paid contributions. A draft we write for a page about your own brand is a paid contribution, and you must say so.
[10]Other companies' services
VentureCite depends on AI providers, Google, Stripe and other services. We do not control them. If one of them changes or stops, part of VentureCite may change or stop. Your use of a connected service, such as Google Analytics, is also under that service's terms.
[11]Availability and support
We work to keep VentureCite available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. For help, use the help button in the product or email engineering@venturecite.com.
[12]Warranty and liability
VentureCite is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the most that the law allows, we give no warranty, express or implied, including for merchantability, fitness for a purpose, accuracy of results, and non-infringement.
To the most that the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You will defend and pay for claims from third parties that come from your breach of these terms or from content you publish using VentureCite.
[13]Ending these terms
You can stop using VentureCite at any time. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms or the law. When your account is deleted, we delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes. Download your data from Settings before you delete the account.
[14]Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state have exclusive jurisdiction over a dispute, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim there.
[15]Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a material change, we tell you in the product or by email before it applies, and we ask you to accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies. If you keep using VentureCite after that date, the new terms apply to you.
